Kristian Stebbing

Kristian has been with KJB Accountants & Business Advisors for over 15 years and prior to this he worked at a large city based firm where he became qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

 

He has extensive experience in all areas of public accounting, with expertise in taxation advice and planning, business structuring and development, self managed superannuation and general management advice.

 

Kristian's qualifications and accreditations include a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) RMIT, Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Membership of National Tax & Accountant Association (NTAA) and he is also a Registered Tax Agent.


Kristian enjoys racing Superkarts and playing cricket for the Williamstown Imperials Cricket Club, where he is currently Treasurer. Kristian also enjoys running and managed to complete his first marathon in 2013. 


Jonathon Stebbing

Jonathon has been with KJB Accountants & Business Advisors for more than 10 years, and prior to this worked in the Corporate Re-Organisation division of Deloitte.

In addition to providing accounting and taxation services to small to medium businesses, Jonathon also has extensive onsite experience with setting up and management of client record-keeping systems. Jonathon also specialises in self-managed superannuation and GST, and has extensive experience in advising clients in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, wholesaling, importing and tradespeople. 
 
Jonathon holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts (with majors in Accounting and Finance, History and Japanese) from Monash University, and also studied at Bishops University in Canada and Lancaster University in the UK. He is a member of Certified Practicing Accountants Australia. 
 
Outside work Jonathon enjoys photography, travelling overseas to new destinations, playing guitar and supporting the St Kilda football club. 

Paul Stebbing

Paul was the founding partner of the firm back in 1990 and remains involved with KJB Accountants & Business Advisors as a Senior Advisor.

 

Paul is a member of Certified Practicing Accountants Australia and a registered Tax Agent.

 

Paul started his career working at the Australian Taxation Office as an audit manager before transitioning to private practice. He joined Morrow Wheatley & Associates before going into property development full-time.

 

Paul has a wealth of experience in a range of high-level business advisory across many different industries, specializing in business structuring, succession planning, asset protection and tax-effective structures.

 

Outside the office, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, fly-fishing, Superkarts and following the St Kilda football club.

Phill Sutton 

Phill commenced his working career with the Bank of New South Wales [Westpac] who sponsored his attendance at Chisholm Institute Bachelor of Business "Banking Finance & Taxation". He ended his career after seventeen and a half years in a specialist unit servicing commercial clients only in the Melbourne Central Business District.

 

His roles within the bank included a stint as clerk to the Victorian State Manager preparing submissions to the board in Sydney and a period in Legal Administration and Audit.

 

As a Senior Commercial Pilot with an All Weather Command Instrument Rating he left the bank to pursue his passion for Aviation as a freelance charter pilot and to start his own Company as a Business and Finance consultant providing a bridge between the client and financial institutions.

 

During this period he established a relationship was a KJB Accountants & Business Advisors which now spans over 30 years. He became full time when General Aviation was disrupted with the introduction of the discount airline Compass.

Sharon Li

Sharon is a qualified accountant with over 15 years' experience in tax.
 

She completed her Accounting Degree at RMIT University in 1998 and her Certified Practicing Accountants Australia accreditation in 2003.

 

Sharon joined KJB Accountants & Business Advisors in Feb 2009 and she demonstrates her passion towards all facets of Tax and Business Advisory.

 

Outside of work Sharon enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and cooking.

Martin Bocxe

Martin has over 25 years experience providing tax and accounting advice, as well as financial reporting and audit services to a diverse range of entities, including listed public companies, not-for-profit entities, retail groups, small and medium businesses, hospitals, superannuation funds, and individuals. 


Martin stated as a junior at Ruwald & Evans in Sydney in 1993, and worked his way up to partner by 2002. Martin started MBA Chartered Accountants after moving to Melbourne in 2016.


Martin has had significant exposure to assisting businesses with their financial reporting needs, accounting and audit requirements, their tax and GST preparation and lodgment needs, interactions with the ATO, ASIC, ACNC, the OSR and ABS, and assisting clients seeking capital funding.


Martin's qualifications include being a Chartered Accountant, Registered Tax Agent, Registered Company Auditor, Registered SMSF Auditor & Justice of the Peace (NSW)

Simone Harnden

Simone has recently joined our team to provide administration support to the office in a job-share role.

 

Simone's responsibilities include office management and accounting support. 

 

Simone has an extensive background in Administration and Customer Service with previous roles including Cubic M3, CSR Sugar and IBM.

 

In her spare time, Simone enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing golf when she can get out on the course and going to their caravan in Baringhup.
